WATCH: What is conflict sensitive adaptation? Director of International Climate Policy at adelphi, Dennis Tänzler, shares his definition.

This interview was conducted at the Planetary Security Conference in The Hague, 5-6 December 2016. It is produced by Paul Müller-Hahl (Lichtbilder Filmproduktion) and directed by Stella Schaller (adelphi).

"Conflict sensitive adaption refers to including the ‘do no harm’ principle in the overall programming process but it is even more. It tries to ensure that adaptation programs are also linked to co-benefits in other areas that are most crucial for peace and stability like livelihood, employment and also overall economic development."
