With the third iteration of the Climate, Peace and Security Experts Academy planned for 9-12 October 2023, the Cairo International Centre for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping, and Peacebuilding (CCCPA) on behalf of the COP27 Presidency and UNDP are delighted to invite you to save-the-date to join a hybrid high-level launch. The event takes place during the Women, Peace and Security Month, commemorating the 23rd anniversary of UNSC Resolution 1325. This “all-women” iteration of the Academy underscores the pivotal role of women in peace and security, and serves as a powerful backdrop for this capacity development initiative, which focuses on ensuring that climate action, policy and finance do not leave behind women, including in conflict-affected and fragile contexts.
